A couple weeks ago we took a look into MKBHD’s blind smartphone camera test. In this test Marquess took 20 smartphone cameras in 3 categories of standard, night shot and portrait mode and had audiences vote blindly on the photos they liked best.

Today MKBHD uploaded his annual Smartphone Awards video. During the “best camera” section where he gives his personal win to the iPhone 15 Pro as the overall best camera. At the end of the section he announced the audience choice winner from the blind test. The winner of the standard photo was the Google Pixel 7a. The winner of best night shot was the iPhone 15 Pro and the winner of the best portrait mode was the Google Pixel 8 Pro.
