The tagline for Apple's event was called “Scary Fast” and from some perspectives it has to do with the new M3 MacBook Pros being super fast and others thinking well it was a super fast event being only about 35 minutes.
At first glance we got the new chips the M3, the M3 Pro and the M3 Max.
This gives us a nice performance bump in the CPU, GPU and everything else.
We got an updated iMac and a new space black MacBook Pro.
But the coolest moment was actually the last 2 seconds of the title card for the whole event and that's when Apple revealed that the entire event was created and shot on the iPhone 15 Pro Max.
All the Apple and Tech nerds went nuts but with what's even more awesome is we have a 2 minutes and 15 second behind the scenes video that was temporarily released and then went unlisted and then people started posting the unlisted link.
Let's go through the behind the scenes. The first shot of the presentation is this hero shot of Tim Cook coming out from Apple Park and doing his good old talking head instead of “Good morning, Good evening” presentation. They used ginormous lights, we can see four of them. They're some sort of Airy Sky panel. It looks like we have four key lights.
Also while we're talking about filming on the iPhone I just want to point out that this week I’m finishing uploading the rest of the videos for my iPhone filmmaking course. At the time of this posting it’s still just under $20 (the price may have gone up depending on when you’re reading this).
