Who is David Altizer?

David Altizer is a content creator who has been all over the filmmaking niche on YouTube. Running the Kinotika channel which he since has given to his friend Connor McCaskill. He then joined the Indy Mogul team as a host for a time before making the move from LA to Tennessee. He then made a brand new channel in which he spent a year working on his first video making 100 movies in 24 hours. While this video turned out amazing, I think he knew it wasn’t sustainable without Mr. Beast level resources.

In the previous handful of months David has fallen into another part of the content creation process, thumbnail design. Since then he has created thumbnails for some of YouTube’s top creators. He now references himself as a full time thumbnail designer.

In recent talks with David he has been excited to start creating content for his own channel again, except this time around thumbnail design. He mentions how it’s an underrated topic to talk about on YouTube. Every YouTube video needs a thumbnail but it’s not easy to always come up with concepts and designs that make sense for the video. In his first thumbnail released video David goes into his entire thought process and workflow for creating a thumbnail for Kurtis Conner’s Barbie vs. Bratz 3: Live Action video.

I can’t wait to see where David’s channel goes in 2024. I believe its going to explode as more and more people see the thought that goes into proper professional thumbnail design and that it’s not something that should be slapped together 5 minutes before you upload.
