DaVinci Resolve has consistently been my go-to editing software. Not only is it easy to use, Blackmagic Design (the developers of DR) has created an ecosystem of tools that proves they understand filmmakers and editors. Grant Petty said, “Blackmagic Design is dedicated to allowing the highest quality video to be affordable to everyone, so the post production and television industry can become a truly creative industry.” The CEO of Blackmagic Design has stayed true to this message and his dedication to excellence in both pre and post production tools and everything in between.

The 4 Accessories That I Recommend for DaVinci Resolve Users Are:

Speed Editor

The Speed Editor is a keyboard shortcut panel specifically built for DaVinci Resolve allowing you to edit more efficiently with its biggest standout feature being the scroll and job wheel.

Tourbox Neo

The Tourbox Neo is a fully customizable shortcut panel that allows you to assign key combos or shortcuts to any button on it. The advantage to the Neo is it works in any program and you can actually set up different shortcuts for different programs.

Cloud Store

The Cloud Store comes in various sizes and features. I personally own the Cloud Store Mini which is an 8 TB RAID System that allows multiple computer to access it over a network or be physically connected to it with it’s crazy fast data speeds editing any sort of footage 4K, 6K, or 8K is a breeze. It also can automatically back up to Dropbox, Google Drive or Blackmagic Cloud.

Color Panel

The Color Panel gives the most enjoyable experience for color grading. While it takes time to learn the muscle memory for the buttons it eventually allows you to focus on your monitor and it’s a more intuitive form of color grading. There’s no need to jump through menus.
